We are seeking a Head of Credit & Settlements on a 16 month maternity cover contract, to lead and manage an integrated credit, settlements, and support function across ANZ and Manila. This critical role involves collaborating with the Asset Finance Leadership Team to achieve strategic goals, ensuring processes adhere to service levels and policies, and continuously improving systems and reporting.
What you will do:

Lead and manage a team of 4 direct reports locally plus 20+ indirect reports based in both Sydney and Manila.

Oversee the credit policy and ensure compliance with regulatory environments (NCCP, RG209, AML/CTF).

Drive continuous improvement and automation strategies within credit and settlement processes.

Exercise a significant lending authority (up to $4 million).

Foster strong relationships and manage diverse teams with emotional intelligence and effective communication.

Contribute to the strategic direction of the Asset Finance department.
What we are looking for:

Previous senior experience across strategic, operational, and people leadership experience in financial services, specifically within Asset Finance.

Significant credit experience, with a delegated lending authority across commercial asset finance (ideally also covering consumer asset finance and specialised lending).

Strong leadership qualities, technical acumen, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience leading leaders.

Experience with credit risk scorecards and process automation is highly advantageous.
