About the role
You're largely dealing in modern Microsoft (Think Azure, Intune, 365, AVD, Azure Storage, HyperV) but there's also some VMWare, networking, scripting & automation and cybersec involved in the role. So the more of that you know the better.
Most of the work is high level support & troubleshooting (maybe 70%) but there is also a significant project work facet to the role (30%).
You also need to be very comfortable interfacing with clients. Indeed presales & design could become part of the role in future.
So what are we looking for?
- Someone with a strong body of Microsoft experience (and ideally a few certs)
- Ideally someone who comes from an MSP background
- a can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with external clients
- the ability to improve processes & harden systems
