The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative team servicing a diverse portfolio of SME and individual clients. The firm is known for its practical, relationship-driven approach and its strong commitment to developing staff through mentoring and professional education.
Candidates currently undertaking or planning to commence CA studies are strongly encouraged to apply, with financial support and mentoring provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Preparation of income tax returns and supporting workpapers
- BAS, IAS, and GST preparation
- Client liaison and information gathering
- Assisting with ATO correspondence and compliance matters
- Supporting senior accountants with advisory work
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Degree qualified in Accounting or a related discipline
- Enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, the CA Program
- Strong technical foundation in Australian tax and compliance
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
