An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HSE Coordinator to join a well-established Tier 2 national builder delivering a landmark $200M residential construction project.
This is a site-based role suited to a hands-on safety professional who enjoys being embedded in the build, partnering closely with site teams, and driving strong safety culture on a large-scale project.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a complex, high-value residential project, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met across site operations.
Working alongside senior site leadership, you'll be empowered to influence, educate, and embed best-practice HSE systems from early works through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain site-based HSE management systems
- Conduct site inspections, safety walks, and risk assessments
- Support incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards, and project requirements
- Work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the project
- Previous experience as an HSE Coordinator on large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety systems
- Experience within residential or mixed-use projects is highly regarded
- Confident communicator who can engage site teams at all levels
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment
- Relevant WHS qualifications (Cert IV or higher preferred)
